However, disaster struck in October 2007. A critical delivery didn’t arrive on time for a major fitting session in Central London, and to make matters worse, the package was damaged beyond repair. The client was furious, and as a result, we lost a major order. At that moment, I felt like I had failed, but I also knew that there had to be a better way to manage crucial deliveries.
The Birth of Selena Courier Service
That very moment sparked an idea. After a conversation with my Managing Director about how I could prevent such mishaps in the future, I was given an unexpected but powerful suggestion: “Start your own courier company.”
I couldn’t believe it at first, but as I thought about it, the idea made perfect sense. If I could control the delivery process, I could ensure every package was treated with the care it deserved. That’s how Selena Courier Service was born in November 2007. I launched the company with just one courier and a determination to provide high-quality, boutique direct delivery services at competitive rates.
