BECOME A COURIER

Drive With Selena.

Self-employed couriers and owner-drivers working across Central London, on ad hoc jobs, dedicated routes and day-rate coverage.

The Working Relationship

Self-Employed, Not Employed

Couriers work with Selena on a self-employed basis. You use your own vehicle, hold your own insurance and compliance documents, and invoice for the work you complete. This is not employment, and nothing here guarantees a volume of work. Allocation depends on operational demand, vehicle type, location, availability and communication standards.

WORKING WITH SELENA

How Courier Work Is Offered

Approved couriers form part of our courier network. Work is offered according to client requirements, vehicle suitability, location, availability and previous service standards.

You keep us updated

You provide accurate information about your availability, working area, vehicle and any changes that may affect an assignment.

We offer suitable work

When suitable work is available, the coordination team provides the collection, delivery, timing and handling requirements.

You confirm availability

Review the assignment carefully and confirm only when you can complete it safely, professionally and within the required timing.

You follow the job instructions

Arrive prepared, verify the collection details and follow all client, handling, route and communication instructions.

You keep coordination informed

Provide the required status updates and report delays, access problems, damage or other concerns promptly. Do not wait until the delivery is complete.

You complete the delivery record

Obtain the required proof of delivery and provide accurate completion information in accordance with Selena’s operating procedures.

Courier work is offered according to operational demand and suitability. Approval to join the courier network does not guarantee a particular volume of work or regular hours.

Service and Conduct

How the Work Is Done

Punctuality and presentation

Arriving when you said you would, looking like someone the client is glad to see.

Care with client goods

Much of what you carry is irreplaceable or is arriving in front of somebody's client.

Discretion

What you see and carry is not discussed. Confidential work is handled as confidential by default.

Calm under pressure

Urgent work is managed, not panicked through. Speed without control is how things get lost.

Proactive communication

If something changes on the road, the coordinator hears it from you first.

Accountability

The job is yours from collection to handover.

What We Are Not

The Way We Do Not Work

Aggressive app-hopping. Reckless driving. Chaotic multi-drop culture. Poor communication. Disappearing during jobs. Panic-based logistics.

YOUR APPLICATION

How the Application Process Works

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, and not every applicant will be contacted. Couriers work with Selena as independent contractors, not as employees.

Prepare your information

Have your contact details, National Insurance number, vehicle photographs and compliance documents ready. The current form asks for all of them at the point of applying.

Submit your application

The form below is the current application route. It asks for your details and your documents in a single step.

We review your application

Your information, documents, vehicle, experience, location and availability are reviewed by the coordination team.

We contact suitable applicants

Applicants whose profile may fit current requirements may be contacted for a conversation. Not every applicant will be.

We complete the required checks

Suitability and documentation must be reviewed before an applicant can progress.

We confirm the next stage

Suitable applicants may be offered a trial, which is why the form asks when you are available for one. Approval does not guarantee a volume of work or regular hours.
